Kiwaq X-Back Harness, size HUS L

The X-back harness is extremely comfortable for dogs and prevents coat damage while pulling a cart, scooter, bike, or sled. This harness evenly distributes pressure across the chest and shoulders when pulling a load, allowing the lungs and front legs to move freely for optimal performance.

Made from high-quality ripstop* material, it does not absorb water and remains lightweight even in the rain, unlike fleece harnesses.

How to Measure for an X-Back Harness

Neck Measurement:

Do not wrap the measuring tape around your dog's neck as if fitting a collar!

Measure in centimeters from the base of the neck (withers) to the breastbone. This gives you half of the neck measurement—double this number to get the correct neck size.

A properly fitting X-back harness should align with the breastbone bump. If the bump sits much lower than the edge of the harness, the fit is too tight.

Tail Measurement:

Measure from the base of the neck (withers) to the base of the tail.

Tip: Make sure your dog is standing straight. Having a second person assist with the measurement is recommended.

Neck Measurement:

Measure from the top of the shoulder blades with a measuring tape, running down along the shoulder towards the breastbone (sternum bump). This measurement represents half of the full neck circumference.

Back Measurement:

Measure from the top of the shoulder blades, running along the back towards the base of the tail. Lifting the tail slightly can help you see the endpoint more clearly.

Types of X-Back Harnesses:

• HUS: Longer in the back and narrower in the neck.
• MAL: Shorter and broader in the back with a deeper neck opening.
